Rooted in the principle that working with nature is the key to financial and ecological success, our workshops challenge outdated narratives—proving that ranching is a viable, rewarding career for the next generation. Through collaboration, storytelling and a trusted network of professionals, we equip participants with tangible skills to build resilient operations and a solutions-driven ranching community.
What We Offer
Our workshops go beyond grazing—we provide a holistic approach to land and resource management to help participants develop the skills they need for resilient, profitable operations.
Intensive workshops on regenerative grazing, soil health livestock profitability, and custom grazing.
Training in defensible space, prescribed fire and vegetation management for wildfire mitigation.
Hard Skill
Development
Practical, hands-on training in essential skills like pasture management, equipment operation and chainsaw skill development.

New Agrarian Apprenticeship
We are excited to host an 8–10 month apprenticeship through the Quivira Coalition, offering aspiring ranchers the chance to gain real-world experience in regenerative ranching. The 2025 position is filled!
Bill Lane Center for the American West Summer Internship
Bill Lane Center for the American West Summer Internship – This 10-week internship, supported by the Bill Lane Center at Stanford University, provides Stanford students the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a variety of elements of regenerative ranching. The 2025 application is closed and we are currently hiring!
