Whether you’re here for a workshop or a quiet getaway with friends and family, Redwing Ranch offers comfortable, scenic lodging in the heart of Huerfano County. Workshop participants stay in one of three ranch houses that serve as short-term rentals throughout the rest of the year.
Please note: Lodging at Redwing Ranch does not include access to ranch operations, but guests will enjoy a peaceful stay surrounded by open space, wildlife, and stunning views.
Attending an Event?
Most workshops at Redwing Ranch include lodging as part of your registration. If you're joining us for an event, there's a good chance you'll be staying at one of these beautiful homes alongside other participants. Details are always shared on each event page.
Want to visit again or book a private stay? We'd love to have you—just note that lodging access is limited to the home and immediate surroundings, not the full ranch property.

Our largest rental, this charming adobe home features four bedrooms, two bathrooms, a full kitchen, and a warm southwestern aesthetic. It's the primary lodging for most workshop participants, so we recommend booking early if you're planning a private stay. We also offer a “horse hotel” add-on at the Malachite Retreat, complete with a pen, trough, and muck tools available for use for an additional fee. Please contact us through the short-term rental platforms for more information.
Our most popular guest lodging, with the river just steps away from the house, this two-bedroom, two-bathroom home offers cozy comfort and tranquil views of the Huerfano River.
Looking for a hunting getaway?
The Star Bungalow is also available on LandTrust as a standalone parcel for private hunting access—perfect for those seeking a quiet, self-guided experience in the Southern Rockies.
